Astasia is an Australian-based label handcrafting pieces inspired by the organic and natural, infused with quirk and whimsy. The first collection is a run of nine silk dupion scrunchies, printed and handmade by me, with a non-stretch drawstring instead of elastic. All the same shape, all $43. More pieces will follow.

Yes. Orders are posted within a few business days and you will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your scrunchie is on its way.
If something is not right, email us within 14 days of delivery. Unworn scrunchies in their original condition can be exchanged or refunded, and we will send you return instructions. Anything that arrives faulty is replaced at our cost.
Yes. The drawstring adjusts to any amount of hair, from a fine ponytail to thick curls. Pull it tighter for less hair and leave it looser for more. One size covers everyone.
Cold hand wash only and air dry, using a pH-neutral or silk-specific detergent. Roll wet silk in a towel and lay it flat to dry, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Avoid tumble drying, as excessive heat can permanently damage and shrink silk fibres. Iron only on a low heat setting. Avoid keeping it in constant direct sunlight, as the print can slowly fade in saturation.
Tie your hair with a regular elastic first. Then, wrap the scrunchie around the elastic, pull the two cord ends to tighten, and tie a bow at the base. Loosen the bow to take it out. Because there is no elastic, it sits exactly as tight or as loose as you want it, and it will not dent or snag your hair. For finer hair, tie the cord of the scrunchie into the elastic for a tighter fit.
