Astasia (we, us, our) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it and how to contact us about it. When you place an order we collect your name, email address, delivery address, phone number if you give one, and details of what you bought. When you join the newsletter we collect your email address. When you contact us we keep your message and contact details so we can reply.
We never see or store your card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles your card information under its own privacy policy. Like most websites, ours also records basic technical information such as your browser, device and the pages you visit, through cookies and our hosting platform, Webflow.
To process and deliver your order and send you confirmation and tracking emails. To answer your questions and handle returns or exchanges. To send you news about new pieces or restocks, only if you have subscribed; every email has an unsubscribe link. To keep the website running, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations, including tax and record keeping.
We share information only with the services we need to run the shop: Stripe for payments, Webflow for website and store hosting, our delivery carrier for your name and address so your parcel can reach you, and our email provider for the newsletter. Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
This website uses cookies to keep your cart, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site, such as the cart, may not work without them.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, and we take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Order records are kept for the period required by Australian tax law.
You can ask us at any time for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email astasiaofficial@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
